SeasonalityAdults have been collected between mid July and early August. IdentificationA large, uniformly dark brown species. The antennae have 12 articles; they are bipectinate in the males and unmodified in females. The frons protrudes anteriorly with a large triangular depression posterad the anterior margin. The pronotum bears a longitudinal groove along the midline and a pair of circular depressions anteriorly. The 1st to 4th tarsal articles bear ventral membranous lobes. Length 27-32 mm.
