SeasonalityAdults of this species have been collected in May to July and September. IdentificationMember of the inaequale group (subgenus Bracteon). Most variable species in the group. Black, base of antennae, tibiae, and sometimes part of femora, often reddish; entire body metallic, from deep brass or green to bright cupreous. Elytra with 4th stria more or less suddenly sinuate (or interrupted) near base, intervals 1-3 (-4) more or less smooth and shiny before anterior silver spot, mirror on 7th interval (including part of the two adjacent) isolated and situated nearer posterior than anterior silver spot. Length 4.6 to 5.6 mm.
