SeasonalityAdults of this species have been collected from May to October. IdentificationBlack, elytra often rufinistic, and only tarsi, extreme tip of palps and extreme base of outer antennal segemnts paler, piceous. Elytra parallel-sided, microsculpture strong, nearly granulate at base. Male with meta-trochanters more or less pointed, about half as long as femora.
