SeasonalityAdults collected May to August. IdentificationMember of the patruelis group, (subgenus Argutor). Piceous black, mouthparts, base of antennae and at least tibia, often entire leg, dark rufous. Prothorax with sides slightly, often ver little, sinuate before hind angles, which are right or slightly obtuse; base impunctate, or nearly so. Elytral striae with evident, rather coarse punctures. Last tarsal segment glabrous. Length 6 to 7.5 mm.
