SeasonalityAdults have been collected in May, June and August. IdentificationMandibles broadly explanate; palps very slender; neck constricted behind the eyes; prothorax without seta at hind angles. Piceous to yellowish brown, elytra often with traces of iridescent lustre, all appendages paler. Prothorax strongly constricted towards base, with sides parallel or slightly divergent just before hind angles. Elytral striae deep and strongly punctured, third stria with three to four setigerous punctures. Length 7.8 to 9.3 mm.
