Handkerchief made from tussah silk (Antheraea pernyi). Label reads: "Handkerchief of tussah silk (Antheraea pernyi) made in the 1920s in China for the US export market. The silk is natural coloured, hand-reeled, and handwoven. Brocaded with colored yarns of mulberry silk. Purchased in April 2015 by RIchard S. Peigler from a seller in Wapello, Iowa, by mail-order."
