SeasonalityAdults are flying from early September to early October and March to May.
IdentificationAdult antennae are light reddish brown with dark brown scapes. Vertex of the head is dark brown with a yellow posterior edge. Spurs are brown. Forewings are greyish chocolate-brown, irrorate with larger hyaline patches throughout. In males, the sternal area of segment 9 is constricted. Segment 10 process is short, slender and curved dorsad (Nimmo, 1971).
