SeasonalityAdults fly from May to September.
IdentificationAdult heads are light yellowish-brown with white setae and the antennae uniform yellowish-brown. The forewings are a yellowish-brown covered lightly with fine setae and the hindwings are whitish. In males, the clasper is relatively horizontal and deeply bifurcate. The lobes are well separated and parallel. The ventral lobe is tapered, acuminate and shorter than the dorsal lobe (Wiggins, 1998).
