Red shot silk 10-pattern piece bodice with central plastron and cuffs of burgundy-red velvet. 15 decorative burgundy-coloured shell buttons at CF with real opening at right of C Fwith 16 hooks and eyelets. Upper plastron edges wired to form small revers collar, neckband edged with 2 white net ruffles. 2-piece fitted sleeve with gathering at elbow and velvet cuff with curved short ends. Vertical row of velvet ribbon bows either side of plastron. Small peplum at CB. Inside lined with twilled cotton; and boned.
