Mauve and yellow pin striped silk taffeta basque bodice. CF closure with 8 buttonholes. Buttons are self-covered. Bodice very fitted, has princess line in back and tails. Lower edge of tails has box pleated self fabric trim with a band above. Sleeve has vest fabric and self fabric box pleat trimming, bow of vest fabric attached. Neckline and sleeve have an extension of beige netting which also has been pleated. Lined with cream -cloured mercerized cotton; boned on seams; inner closing with 3 hooks and eyes.
