Mauve and yellow pinstriped taffeta overskirt, made up of 7 panels eased into waistband at front, and gathered tightly in the back of waistband; CB opening with 2 hooks and eyes on waistband. Draped hemline curved up to a point at side front and down again at back. Has box pleated trimming along edge. Every 15 cm, the trim is pulled up into a bow shape. Inside upper skirt has heavy cotton net for added volume. Side back seams have fabric bunched up for bustle.
