Basque bodice of brown and black striped fabric with alternating blocks in taffeta and satin weave for checked effect. Stand-up collar, sleeves full at top tapering to narrow wrist, pointed at CF, CB, sides of hem; trim forms V shape from shoulders to CF. CF closing with 10 removable buttons. Buttons have gold metal rim with amber glass inside held on with split rings. Waistline seam with watchpocket in front; back has princess seaming; 2 waist tapes in interior sewn to back at waistline. Trimed with fringed novelty braid in black and brown.
