Black silk bodice with black embroidered net inset with jewel neckline with lines of small jet beads. Inset has V-shaoe at the back and squared at the front; Closing of inset has 6 hooks and bars from left shoulder to CF; closing of inner bodice with 10 hooks and eyes. Black fashion fabric features many pintucks from shoulder doen to CF at waist, waistline features draped black fabric with CF closing with 3 hooks and eyes. Set-in sleeves with pintucks, and gathered loop at cuff. Completely lined and boned; inner waist tie, has name of maker woven in.
