Site Typeburial DescriptionThis site, which contains the burials of two children, was accidentally discovered in 1968 by a backhoe. The youngest child, approximately 1-2 years old, is Clovis aged (10,680 RCYBP). The second child, who was 6-8 years old at time of death, is more recent, possibly Archaic. Also found at Anzick were stone tools and faunal remains.
