Site Typecampsite; workshop
DescriptionLocated about 32km north of Fort Liard in the southwest corner of the NWT, along the western side of a small valley about 4km north of Fisherman's Lake, at the foot of the eastern slope of Ponted Mountain. The site is situated between two rocky spurs that emerge from the main Rocky Mountain chain. These spurs point east. The occupation is on the top of an along the upper side of a lateral moraine. Artifacts include flakes, burins, scrapers and bifaces.
Visited / excavated the site: MacNeish, RS 1950,52; Millar, JFV 1967, 1972.
