Located near Consuelo Cove in Ultima Esperanza Inlet, 201km west of Palli Aike Cave. Mylodon Cave appears to be a wave cut cavern. The opening faces west-southwest. Artifacts include a human skeleton, stone tolls and faunal remains, including sloth skin. There are 5 layers: Surface, Layer A (human occupation, shells, grass, broken guanaco bones), Layer B (native horse bones, no proof of human assocation), Layer C (Glossotherium (Mylodon) bones and manure) and Bottom (cave floor).
