DescriptionLocated in the Patagonia area of southern-most Chile, in the valley of the Rio Chico where the river at one time undercut the canyon wall. The cave has five layers, numbered I to V. A later excavation was designated Block C-D. Area D had 22 layers. Archaeological remains include stone and bone tools and faunal remains.
