Site Typecity DescriptionFirst settled in 500 BC and abandoned for a short time in 800 AD when Monte Alban was abandoned. It was shortly thereafter reinhabited and remained so until the Spanish forcibly removed the occupants. Located in the Tlacolula Valley, 35km east of Oaxaca City.
