It is flat and sheltered by treed bedrock outcropping on all but the SW side, which slopes gently toward the Meadow.
At least 5 culture bearing horizons, three occuring beneath Mazama ash. Considerable lithic material, mostly local silicified siltstone of Banff Chert. Diagnostics include points resembling Besant, Pelican Lake, Hanna, and Bitterroot types. No diagnostics found beneath the ash, but a few heavy tools were discovered. Artifacts include projective points, tools, debitage, FCR, and faunal remains.
