Site Typeanimal processing DescriptionA site in northwest Venezuela, dated from 12,000-14,000 BP, with El Jobo bifacial tools, scrapers, blades, and leaf-shaped points. Mastodon and glyptodon bones were also found in direct association with the tools. The site is located approximately 3km north of the Muaco site, in the Rio Pedregal region in Venezuela. It was originally discovered by J. M. Cruxent and Alex Krieger in 1962.

A site in northwest Venezuela, dated from 12,000-14,000 BP, with El Jobo bifacial tools, scrapers, blades, and leaf-shaped points. Mastodon and glyptodon bones were also found in direct association with the tools. The site is located approximately 3km north of the Muaco site, in the Rio Pedregal region in Venezuela.
