IdentificationAdults of this subspecies resemble those of Cicindela duodecimguttata but are separated by the configuration of the marginal band. In C. repanda the marginal band is continuous or narrowly separated from the humeral lunule, whereas in C. duodecimguttata the band has a wide gap.

Adults of this subspecies resemble those of Cicindela duodecimguttata but are separated by the configuration of the marginal band. In C. repanda the marginal band is continuous or narrowly separated from the humeral lunule, whereas in C. duodecimguttata the band has a wide gap.
Life History
This subspecies has a two year life cycle, with the third instar passing through the first winter, and the adult the second.
Conservation
This subspecies is moderately common in Alberta.

The range of this species extends over most of United States and Canada. This species is found throughout Alberta with the exception of the far north and western Rockies.
