SeasonalityAdutls collected in May to July, September and October. IdentificationMember of the patruelis group, (subgenus Argutor). Pure black, rather dull, mouthparts,base of inner antennal segments and at least tibiae piceous. Prothorax with very slight and short sinuation of sides before hind angles, which are about right; latero-basal fovea usually surrounded by scattered puntures. Elytral striae virtually impunctate. Prosternum smooth. Length 6 to 8 mm.
