SeasonalityMost adults collected in June and July, but likely are around all summer. IdentificationColour dark brown to rufous. Antennae, palps, and legs testaceous. Head and pronotum very punctuate and setose. Elytra oblong, larger apically, striae finely punctuated (Lindroth 1992). Intervals pubescent and punctuated. The sinuate apex and incomplete basal margin of elytra distinguish it from C. unicolor Kirby (Jeannel 1942). Wing dimorphism evident. Brachypterous form with wings less than 1/2 length of elytra; macropterous form fully capable of flight (Lindroth 1992). Length 7.5-9 mm.
