Common NamePointed-winged Wave SeasonalityAdults fly throughout July in Alberta. IdentificationA small light tan geometrid with well-defined dark crosslines and discal spots. Life History McGuffin (1970) gives a brief description of the immature stages. No other published information is available on this species' biology. Adults come to light. Conservation Not of concern. Diet Info Larvae will feed on white sweetclover (Meliotus alba) and alder (Alnus tenuifolia) (Handfield 1999). Range Quebec west to NWT and BC, south to MI, IN and AZ (Covell 1970, Handfield 1999).
