Life History
Facultative slave makers, these ants will raid nest of the fusca group complex for slaves (Wheeler and Wheeler, 1963). Not much else is known.
Conservation
Not of concern.
Diet Info
Omnivorous, but predate heavily on insects; will also farm aphids.
Range
Saskatchewan to Utah and North Dakota to Washington (Wheeler and Wheeler, 1963). Only one site has been reported from Alberta: Rainbow Valley, Edmonton (Sharplin, 1966).
