SeasonalityAdults collected in May.IdentificationThe head may be as wide as it is long, or somewhat wider than it is long. Antennae are 8 segmented, though occasionally 7 segmented. Antennal segments 3 and 4 each have a forked sense cone. The prothorax has two well developed pairs of epimeral setae, and the mesospinasternum is separated from the metasternum by a suture. Forewings have two veins; on the fore vein the setae are interrupted, and on the hind vein, the setae are uniformly space. The abdomen has pleural plates. The median pair of setae are placed far apart on the intermediate abdominal tergites. There may or may not be a posterior comb present on abdominal tergite 8 (Stannard, 1968).
