SeasonalityUndocumented. IdentificationThe head is broader than long and the dorsal surface of the head is smooth to weakly transversely striate along the lateral margins and base. The eyes are moderately large and prolonged somewhat posteriad ventrally. Ocelli are absent in apterous forms and present in macropterous forms. Antennae are 8 segmented, and segments 7 and 8 each have a broad pedicel. The mouth cone is broadly rounded. The prothorax has well developed epimeral setae, which are dilated at the tip. The basantra is absent. The mesopraesternum is reduced to two triangular plates, and the metanotum is weakly striate longitudinally on the sides of the scutum. Species may be macropterous or apterous. Wings lack accessory setae. Each fore leg has a small tooth. The pelta is triangular and slightly reticulated, and the wing holding setae are well developed (Stannard, 1968).
