Forewings are light brownish yellow with irregularly darkened veins. In males, segment 10 processes are broad, distally rounded and black. The clasper is small with a narrow base that gradually widens to a dorsal process with a paired distal tooth (Nimmo, 1971).

Adult antennae are yellowish brown and the vertex of the head is red-brown with a dark brown longitudinal stripe. Spurs are pale yellow. Forewings are light brownish yellow with irregularly darkened veins. In males, segment 10 processes are broad, distally rounded and black. Life History Annual? Conservation Rare. Diet Info Larvae are detritovores, feeding on vascular plant tissues. Range This species range extends from Alberta, south to Virginia and east to Quebec. In Alberta, this species was recorded from Cold Creek and Nojack (Nimmo, 1971).
