SeasonalityUndocumented. IdentificationThe body varies around 0.9 to 1.2mm in length, and is brown and yellow. The head, most of the thorax, the coxae, trochanters, most of the femora, abdominal segments 1 to 3, 7 to 10, and antennal segments 4 to 8 are dark brown. The rest of antennal segments are yellow, as is the most of the rest of the body. However, the forewings are brown at the base and in the apical three fourths and colourless in the basal fourth. Antennal segment 6 is pedicellate, and the pronotum has transverse striations. Females are macropterous or brachypterous and males are brachypterous. The abdominal tergites are uniformly covered with microsetae and posterior combs of setae are present on abdominal segments 1 to 8. Males have a transverse glandular area on each of abdominal sternites 1 to 7 (Stannard, 1986).
