SeasonalityAdults fly from late August to mid-September. IdentificationAdult antennae are uniform brown with the vertex of the head chocolate-brown. Warts and head sutures are deep yellow-brown. Spurs are dark brown except the fore-leg spurs which are straw-yellow. In males, the dorsum of segment 9 is long, postero-lateral edges are flanged and the posterior edge is developed as a prominent, upturned, rounded process (Nimmo, 1977).

Adult antennae are uniform brown with the vertex of the head chocolate-brown. Warts and head sutures are deep yellow-brown. Spurs are dark brown except the fore-leg spurs which are straw-yellow. In males, the dorsum of segment 9 is long, postero-lateral edges are flanged and the posterior edge is developed as a prominent, upturned, rounded process (Nimmo, 1977).
Conservation Rare. Diet Info Larvae are probably predacious. Range Currently known from Alberta and Montana. In Alberta, it has been collected from Waterton National Park area (Nimmo, 1977).
