Forewings are dull brownish yellow with darker areas along the posterior region of wing. In males, segment 10 ventral processes are short, stout and partly obscured by the cercus. Segment 10 dorsal processes are clearly visible, large, and black and curved ventrad (Nimmo, 1971).

Adult antennae are brownish yellow and the vertex of the head pale yellow. Forewings are dull brownish yellow with darker areas along the posterior region of wing. In males, segment 10 ventral processes are short, stout and partly obscured by the cercus. Segment 10 dorsal processes are clearly visible, large, and black and curved ventrad (Nimmo, 1971).
Conservation Common. Diet Info No information available. Range This species range extends from Alberta, south to Idaho. In Alberta, it is confined to high altitude creeks or pools (Nimmo, 1971).
