SeasonalityAdults recorded in October, April and May (collected at light at near-freezing temperatures). IdentificationAdult antennae are dark brown with white scapes. Vertex of the head is totally black. Spur formula is 1, 1, 1 and brown. Forewings are hyaline in the membrane with scattered patches of light grey-brown. In males, the cercus is large, bifid and the ventral lobe is longer and narrower. Clasper is tapered and broadly triangular. The distal process is slender, and finger-like. This species is best recognised by very late or very early seasonality, cold grey irrorate forewings and delicate appearance (Nimmo, 1971).

Life History Annual? Immatures unknown. Conservation Common. Diet Info No information available. Range This species range extends from Alaska to Alberta and Labrador. In Alberta, it has been recorded at Nordegg, Winfield, Edmonton, George Lake (near Busby) and Calling Lake (Nimmo, 1971).
