SeasonalityAdults are flying from early July to early September. IdentificationAdult antennae are light reddish brown with darker scapes and pedicels. Spurs are yellow. Forewings are light yellowish brown, very lightly irrorate in the posterior regions. In males, segment 10 processes extremities curved dorsa-laterad to coincide with a black tooth on the dorso-mesal edge of the cercus (Nimmo, 1971).

Life History Annual? Conservation Uncommon. Diet Info Larvae are detritovores. Range The known range extends from Alberta south to Colorado and east to Newfoundland. In Alberta, it occurs in the plains and low foothills (Nimmo, 1971).
