SeasonalityAdults fly from late May to early July. IdentificationAdult antennae are light brown with brown scapes. Vertex of the head has two dark areas between the lateral ocelli. Spurs are pale yellow. Forewings are light yellowish brown and the clear areas are smoky white. In males, the clasper without ventral body, extremity upturned, black and acuminate. Segment 10 processes are black, long, and slender with a slight downward curve (Nimmo, 1971).

Life History Annual? Conservation Not common. Diet Info Larvae are detritovores. Range This species range extends from Alberta and Great Slave Lake, east to Quebec and New Hampshire. In Alberta, it occurs in the plains and low, large mountains (Nimmo, 1971).
