SeasonalityAdults are flying form late July to early August. IdentificationAdult antennae are brown in the basal two-thirds and yellow, the distal third. Vertex of the head is dark brown between the lateral ocelli. Spurs are yellow. Forewings are brown to dark reddish brown. In males, the cercus is slightly shorter than segment 10 processes. The processes have a small tooth at eh extremity. There is a finger-like cleft between the clasper and the extension of segment 9 body (Nimmo, 1971).

Life History Annual? Conservation Rare. Diet Info Larvae are detritovores. Range The range extends from British Columbia and Alberta, south to Oregon. In Alberta, this species has been recorded from Tonquin Valley and Mount Edith Cavell in Jasper National Park (Nimmo, 1971).
