SeasonalityAdults fly from late June to early October. IdentificationAdult antennae are dark brown with darker scapes. Vertex of the head is dark brown with paler warts. Spurs are brownish yellow. Forewings are light brown and the clear areas white. In males, the clasper is developed mesad and the dorsal edge is black and dentate. Cercus and segment 10 processes are equal in length and relatively narrow, projecting well posterad of the clasper (Nimmo, 1971).

Life History Annual? Conservation Relatively common. Diet Info Larvae are detritovores. Range The range extends from British Columbia, east to Newfoundland and Greenland. In Alberta, this species occurs in the plains, foothills and mountains (Nimmo, 1971).
