SeasonalityAdults fly from mid-July to mid-September. IdentificationAdult antennae are pale yellow and the vertex of the head pale yellow-brown. Spurs are pale yellow. Forewings are grayish white with scattered brown areas. In males, the clasper is without a ventral base and there is a small, acuminate dorsal tooth on the extremity. Segment 10 processes, distal third are slender, curved dorsad and partly visible under the ventral edge of the cercus (Nimmo, 1971).

Life History Annual? Conservation Not common. Diet Info Larvae are detritovores. Range This species has been recorded in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Minnesota and Colorado. In Alberta, it occurs in the plains and lower foothills (Nimmo, 1971).
