SeasonalityOne single specimen was recorded on September 22. IdentificationAdult antennae are reddish brown and the vertex of the head deep chocolate brown. Spurs are yellow. Forewings are virtually hyaline with faint brown tinge. In males, the cercus is slightly longer than segment 10 processes. The processes are linear, tapered and directed posterad; they are almost completely visible ventrad of the cercus (Nimmo, 1977).

Adult antennae are reddish brown and the vertex of the head deep chocolate brown. Spurs are yellow. Forewings are virtually hyaline with faint brown tinge. In males, the cercus is slightly longer than segment 10 processes. The processes are linear, tapered and directed posterad; they are almost completely visible ventrad of the cercus (Nimmo, 1977).
Life History Annual? Conservation Rare? Diet Info Larvae are detritovores. Range This species is known from Vancouver Island to central British Columbia. In Alberta, one record from the James River marsh, near the Red Deer River crossing with the Forestry Trunk Road (Nimmo, 1977).
