SeasonalityAdults fly from mid-August to late September. IdentificationAdult antennae are pale yellow and the vertex of the head is yellow except for the darker mesad area. In males, the cercus is massive, polygonal and almost completely concealing segment 10 processes. The inner face of the cercus is deeply concave and densely covered with relatively long setae. The ventral base of the clasper is almost concealed (Nimmo, 1971).

Adult antennae are pale yellow and the vertex of the head is yellow except for the darker mesad area. In males, the cercus is massive, polygonal and almost completely concealing segment 10 processes. The inner face of the cercus is deeply concave and densely covered with relatively long setae. The ventral base of the clasper is almost concealed (Nimmo, 1971).
Conservation Very common. Diet Info Larvae are detritovores. Range The range extends from Alaska to Alberta, Michigan and Maine. IN Alberta, this species occurs in the plains, foothills and the low mountain passes (Nimmo, 1971).
