SeasonalityAdults are found in July. IdentificationAdult antennae are light brown with the scapes and pedicels darker. The vertex of the head is brown with paler warts. Spurs are yellow. Forewings are light brown, irrorate and the costal area is clear. In males, the cercus and segment 10 processes are long, slender and equal in length. The clasper is minute and triangular in shape (Nimmo, 1971).

Adult antennae are light brown with the scapes and pedicels darker. The vertex of the head is brown with paler warts. Spurs are yellow. Forewings are light brown, irrorate and the costal area is clear. In males, the cercus and segment 10 processes are long, slender and equal in length. The clasper is minute and triangular in shape (Nimmo, 1971).
Life History Annual? Conservation Uncommon. Diet Info Larvae are detritovores. Range This species is Holarctic in distribution. The range extends from Alaska to Greenland, Newfoundland and Washington State. In Alberta, it occurs in the plains and the larger and lowest mountain valleys (Nimmo, 1971).
