SeasonalityAdults fly from late May to mid-July. IdentificationAdults antennae are yellow to pale brown. The vertex of the head is yellow to very pale brown in patches. Spurs are yellow. Forewings are pale brown to yellow and clear at the costal margins. In males, the posterior edge on segment 9 is straight and collinear with cercus edge. Segment 10 processes are long, narrow and black (Nimmo, 1971).

Life History Annual? Conservation Not common. Diet Info Larvae are detritovores. Range The range of this species extends from Great Slave Lake to New England. In Alberta, it occurs in the central and northeastern lowlands (Nimmo, 1971).
