SeasonalityAdults are flying from July 1 to 12. IdentificationAdult antennae are brown and the vertex of the head with two dark areas mesad of the lateral ocelli. Spurs are light brown. Forewings and light to dark brown, irrorate and the clear areas are light brown. In males, the clasper is without a ventral base. Segment 10 processes are curved or tapered smoothly dorsad and projected beyond the cercus. The distal edge of the cercus is straight (Nimmo, 1971).

Adult antennae are brown and the vertex of the head with two dark areas mesad of the lateral ocelli. Spurs are light brown. Forewings and light to dark brown, irrorate and the clear areas are light brown. In males, the clasper is without a ventral base. Life History Annual? Conservation Rare. Diet Info Larvae are detritovores. Range The range for this species extends from Alaska, south to Illinois and east to Ontario. In Alberta, it can be found in the larger, low mountain valleys, specifically west of Banff town site (Nimmo, 1971).
