IdentificationAdult antennae are reddish-brown and the spurs are red-brown, except the foreleg spurs which are black. Forewings are golden brown, extensively irrorate on the distal and posterior portions. In males, the clasper is shaped like an inverted-acute triangle. The distal edge of the circus is roundly incised (Nimmo, 1977).

Adult antennae are reddish-brown and the spurs are red-brown, except the foreleg spurs which are black. Forewings are golden brown, extensively irrorate on the distal and posterior portions. In males, the clasper is shaped like an inverted-acute triangle. The distal edge of the circus is roundly incised (Nimmo, 1977).

Range
This species is so far only known from Alberta, with one record from Lethbridge in the south and Fort Vermilion in the north (Nimmo, 1977).
