SeasonalityAdults fly from mid-July to mid-August. IdentificationAdult antennae are dark brown with yellow joints. The vertex of the head is uniform black. Spurs are reddish brown. Forewings are chocolate brown, irregularly irrorate, especially along the anterior edge. In males, the cercus is massive, black and has curved teeth. The clasper is short, blunt and without a dorsal process (Nimmo, 1971).

Forewings are chocolate brown, irregularly irrorate, especially along the anterior edge. In males, the cercus is massive, black and has curved teeth. The clasper is short, blunt and without a dorsal process (Nimmo, 1971).
Life History Annual? Conservation Rare. Diet Info Larvae are detritovores. Range The range for this species extends from Great Slave Lake, to Alberta and British Columbia (Nimmo, 1971).
