The dorsal process is minute (Nimmo, 1971).

Adult antennae are brown with lighter scapes. The vertex of the head is dark brown, lightening laterally. Spurs are brown. Forewings are pale chocolate brown, minutely and densely irrorate and the costa area clear. In males, the ventral base makes up the majority of the clasper, which is a right-triangle in shape. The dorsal process is minute (Nimmo, 1971).
Life History Annual? Conservation Rare. Diet Info Larvae are detritovores. Range The range for this species extends from southern Alberta, south to Oregon and Colorado. In Alberta, it has been recorded from Waterton National Park area (Nimmo, 1971).
