SeasonalityAdults fly from early July to early September. IdentificationAdult antennae are light brown with creamy-white scapes. Spurs are brown. Forewings are chocolate brown to reddish brown. In males, there are no processes on segment 10; however there are simple, flat sclerites between the clasper bases. There is a small, black peg on the cercus at the lower corner. The clasper is set low on the posterior edge of segment 9 (Nimmo, 1971).

Adult antennae are light brown with creamy-white scapes. Spurs are brown. Forewings are chocolate brown to reddish brown. In males, there are no processes on segment 10; however there are simple, flat sclerites between the clasper bases. There is a small, black peg on the cercus at the lower corner. Life History Annual. Adults emerging in the spring may diapause until September (Wiggins, 1996). Conservation Common. Diet Info No information available. Range This species range extends from Yukon, south to British Columbia, Minnesota, Nova Scotia and Greenland. It is found in the foothills and mountains in Alberta (Nimmo, 1971).
