SeasonalityAdults fly from early June to late July. IdentificationAdult antennae are brown and the vertex of the head is dark brown with yellowish warts. Spurs are dark brown. Forewings are dark brownish grey, irrorate, with large patches of solid colour. In males, the processes of the cercus and segment 10 are short, blunt and equal. The clasper is massive and the base is merged with acuminate dorsal process (Nimmo, 1971).

Life History Annual? Conservation Common. Diet Info No information available. Range The range of this species extends from British Columbia to Great Slave Lake, Minnesota and Ontario. In Alberta, this species is mainly confined to the plains and eastern foothills (Nimmo, 1971).
