Adult antennae are dark brown to dark, reddish brown. The vertex of the head is dark brown to black and the spurs are red-brown. Forewings are grey-brown with large hyaline areas. In males, the clasper is shaped like an inverted triangle. The dorsum of segment 9 is developed posterad as a massive shelf, dorsad of the cercus and segment 10 processes (Nimmo, 1971).
