Life History
The larva feeds in a folded or rolled leaf and overwinters as a final instar larva in the leaf litter. Adult females lay eggs singly or in small groups. (Razowski 2002)

Diet Info
Polyphagous on deciduous trees and shrubs, most rearing records in Canada are from alder (Alnus sp.). (Prentice 1965)
Range
Holarctic, In both the Nearctic and Palearctic it is transboreal. (Razowski 2002)
