A medium sized crambid (19-24 mm wingspan). Forewings chocolate brown with a silvery white discal stripe that is crossed by two diagonal dark brown lines; terminal line with a row of black dots. Life History
Diurnal and comes to light. Forbes (1923) states "caterpillar under moss; brown, with black head and cervical shield".

Uncommon, but of no concern.
